Reservation, Deposit, and Refund Policy
Effective Date: 02.20.26
This policy applies to reservations for family placements and breeding placements unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.
1. Why We Require a Deposit
A deposit secures your reservation and confirms intent. Once a kitten (or a future placement slot) is reserved, we may turn away other inquiries and plan our timeline accordingly. This is standard practice among reputable breeders and catteries.
2. Deposit Terms
A deposit is required to secure a reservation.
Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price unless otherwise stated in writing.
Payment instructions are provided through the inquiry/application form, or you may use the current payment details listed on our Contact page.
3. Refunds and Cancellations
Because a deposit holds a reservation and removes availability from the market, deposits are generally non-refundable. This approach is widely used by established catteries.
That said, we will always communicate clearly and work with you in a fair, reasonable way when circumstances change (these are living babies and real-life timing can shift).
4. Transfer Option (Optional, If Offered)
If we offer a transfer option, it will be outlined in writing. Many programs allow a deposit to be transferred to another kitten or a future litter under defined conditions.
5. Final Payment
Final payment timing and transfer/pickup conditions are confirmed in the reservation confirmation and/or contract.
6. Delivery Costs
Delivery is priced separately unless explicitly included in writing. If a third-party transport service has already been booked, transport fees may be subject to the carrier’s cancellation rules.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, the reservation may be paused until the matter is resolved to prevent double-booking and protect both parties
